The burning of trash, leaves and most yard refuse is prohibited by State and Local Law. Some burning is exempt from those regulations. To learn more about burning requirements within the Village limits, please read the Village's Open Burning Ordinance. Dog Licensing
Dogs over 6 months of age living within the Village limits must have a dog license. Dog licenses can be obtained at the Clerk's Office during January. After January 31st dog licenses can be obtained at the Crawford County Clerk's Office in Prairie du Chien.
